Here's what makes working with me different: I don't just show up on your wedding day. From our first Zoom call—where I need to see how you two connect, because that's how I learn to capture your love—to the moments I'm checking in on you the week before because I know wedding planning can feel overwhelming. I'm not just your photographer; I become your friend. The one who knows you're nervous about your vows, who remembers your dog's name, who texts you encouragement when you need it most. When you trust me with your story, something beautiful happens—you stop worrying about the camera and start just loving each other.

HONESTLY? THIS GETS PERSONAL- I only take eight weddings a year because I refuse to give you anything less than my whole heart. When I'm with you, I'm fully with you—not thinking about the next couple or the next paycheck. I'll cry during your vows (sorry, not sorry), celebrate with you like I'm family, and send you sneak peeks at midnight because I'm too excited to wait. Your love story becomes part of mine, and years later when I see your anniversary posts or baby announcements, my heart still skips. That's not business—that's what happens when you let someone truly witness your love.

03. Portrait sessions
Your wedding day is finally here! I'll be there bright and early, camera ready and heart full. After we capture everything from your vows to those golden hour portraits to your epic dance moves, you'll get gorgeous sneak peeks while I work on your complete gallery. If you've added an album, we'll start designing something absolutely stunning to hold all these memories.
At The Altar
Once the contract is signed and retainer is paid, the real fun begins! You'll receive a wedding welcome gift and comprehensive planning guide that breaks down everything from timeline tips to what to expect on your wedding day. I'll be checking in regularly because building that genuine connection is everything to me. By your wedding week, we'll be texting like old friends, and I'll be making sure you feel completely taken care of and excited (not stressed) about your day.

Once you've got your date and venue locked down, let's chat! I only take 8 weddings a year, so my calendar fills up pretty quickly—usually couples book me 12-16 months out to snag their spot.
Next Steps: fill out my contact form with your wedding date and tell me about your vision. I'll respond with my availability, a full pricing guide, and a few questions to make sure we click. If we're both feeling it, a signed contract and 30% retainer secures your spot!
01. how and when should i book?
All invoices will be created and sent directly to you via Honeybook and you'll be able to make payments online via credit/debit card. 30% is due upfront to get your date officially on my calendar.
02. how does payment work?
Let's talk turnaround: portrait sessions take about 3 weeks, and your wedding photos? 10 weeks max. The perk of only booking eight weddings a year means I can actually get your memories back to you faster than most. Plus, you'll get a highlight reel just one week after your wedding to share with everyone!
03. how long does image delivery take?
Here's the real talk on photo counts: I don't have a set formula because every couple is unique. It really depends on your coverage and how many moments we're capturing. I average about 50-75 photos per hour, though if you two are extra adorable (which, let's be honest, you will be), expect more!
04. How many photos will we receive?
I'm always down for an adventure! I'll travel anywhere in the US for your wedding or elopement. Here's how it works: if you're within 3 hours of Louisville, I just charge the standard IRS mileage rate (easy math). Beyond that 3-hour mark anywhere in the lower 48? It's a flat $1,600 travel fee. Simple, straightforward, no surprises.
05. Do you charge for travel?
I am here to offer you a safe and loving space to be yourselves no matter who you are, what you look like or what you believe in. My clients don't fall into any one category. They are simply in human.

The BEST photographer!! Shelby was everything I could have imagined as a wedding photographer. She directed us how to pose & where to place our hands, etc. She was the perfect instructor (which is what we needed on a day where we had so much on our minds lol). Thank you Shelby for taking our STUNNING elopement photos in Tahoe! We only met briefly over the phone the week before we eloped, but I instantly knew you were so kind, fun and understanding. You really went above and beyond when we met up on a dirt road and drove up to the waterfalls together, climbing on rocks and doing everything you could to get that perfect shot. And then after we got married, you were so GREAT! Celebrating with us and instantly making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. I was SHOOOOOK by our wedding photos... it was so amazing to get a few previews the SAME NIGHT we got married. And they were 1000% better than I ever expected- literally OBSESSED! We have shared these photos with our loved ones who couldn't be at the elopement because of COVID and they felt the magic and love in every shot. Shelby did an amazing job photographing not only our wedding but also our engagement! From the beginning she was extremely professional, organized and clearly loves what she does. For our wedding she sent out a detailed questionnaire of exactly who we wanted photos with, what vibe we were going for and much more. At the time I didn’t realize how helpful this truly was! The day of the wedding Shelby took the reigns and knew exactly where to be at the right time, without us feeling like she was in the way at all. She kept a list of who needed to be in photos and was great at organizing each shot in order to maximize the time we had. We were beyond elated once we received our photos! Every moment was captured beautifully and never filtered to look unnatural or unrealistic to who we are. Even with my husband having a critical eye for photography, as that what he does professionally, neither of us had any negative critiques for Shelby-she killed it! I would recommend Shelby for your wedding, engagement or any other event that you would love gorgeous and memorable photos of!
